About the Bavarian Government Scholarship
Hochschule Hof offers semester or annual scholarships to deserving and qualified foreign students (apart from exchange students, bachelor students with less than 90 ECTS, and master’s students with less than 30 ECTS) for the summer semester of 2022 and/or the winter semesters of 2022/23.
Subject to receipt of funding from the Bavarian Ministry of Science, Research, and the Arts (Bayerische Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst), the DAAD (Stibet III), and the Graduate School (only relevant for Graduate School students). The Bavarian Government Scholarships are intended to help international students with their additional living and educational expenses while enrolled at Hochschule Hof.
About the HOF University of Applied Sciences


Practice-orientation, internationalization (focusing on India), and the intelligent use of resources (focusing on indoor climate systems/water) are at the heart of teaching and research at Hof University, which currently offers more than 30 bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in Business, Computer Science, and Engineering. Application Deadline
All applications are expected to be turned in on or before 12 noon on October 31, 2022. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered for the Bavarian Government Scholarship.

Application Requirements
These are the criteria that make you eligible to apply for the Bavarian Government Scholarship at the HOF University of Applied Sciences.
- Foreign students must be enrolled as full-time students (not possible for exchange students) at the Hochschule Hof for the respective semester (summer semester 2022 or winter semester 2022/23).
- Foreign students must be academically (previous examination performance) and personally qualified. Foreign students enrolled in Bachelor’s courses must have achieved a minimum of 90 ECTS to be eligible. Master’s students must have achieved a minimum of 30 ECTS. Please attach the proof.
- Foreign students must be in financial need. Hochschule Hof may at any time ask for proof of given information.
- Foreign students must be residents of Germany.


Note: Students receiving any additional public funding (e.g. BAföG, DAAD, Erasmus, any kind of governmental scholarship) for the same period of time cannot be considered and are exempted from this scholarship.
